Tools and methods
  • SolidWorks (pattern design)
  • Cleanroom fabrication
  • Photolithography
  • Soft lithography
  • PDMS microfabrication
  • Spin coating
  • Channel design

A microfluidic chip I designed and fabricated in a cleanroom to study how two liquids mix through a designed channel geometry.

What I did

I designed the channel pattern in SolidWorks and fabricated the chip in the cleanroom using photolithography, soft lithography, spin coating and PDMS microfabrication.

Result

The chip showed controlled mixing of two liquids, completing the full cycle from pattern design to a working, validated device.
