A bending jig for the 3 mm stainless-steel tubing in PIIKO's biochemistry analyzer. I designed the mechanism in SolidWorks, checked the bend in a motion study and printed the jig in Formlabs resin.
What it does
The jig bends 3 mm stainless-steel tube for PIIKO’s biochemistry analyzer. The tube sits against a fixed die, and a lever arm rotates around the die to form the bend, so each tube is bent the same way.
How I built it
- Designed the die and lever in SolidWorks and checked the bend in a motion study (the clip above).
- Printed the jig in Formlabs resin.
