An automated machine that fills, seals and packages reagent kits, built in-house to replace costly third-party equipment.
What I built
I designed, built and commissioned the full system within a month, then validated it through production trials. The clip above shows the sealing stage: a tray on linear guides moves under the sealing head, which presses foil over the kits.
Result
The machine produces 4,500 test kits a day with low error rates. It cut production costs and removed the dependency on third-party equipment.
